Respect for Residents & Staff
Treat every resident, staff member, and visitor with dignity and courtesy. This is a shared home for adults — disagreements are settled calmly and respectfully, never through insults or aggression.
A Quiet, Study-First Environment
Quiet hours run from 21:00 to 06:00 daily. Keep music, gatherings, and conversation at a considerate level at all times so everyone can study, rest, and focus on their academics.
No Alcohol, Drugs, or Smoking
Green Hill is an alcohol-free, drug-free, and smoke-free residence. Possession or use of any of these on the premises will lead to immediate disciplinary action, up to and including eviction.
Locked Kitchen Policy
For safety and immaculate cleanliness, the kitchen is locked and no student cooking is allowed. All meals are prepared by our professional catering partner and delivered daily, so you never need to cook.
Security & Access
Never leave doors propped open or share access with strangers. Report lost keys, suspicious visitors, or any security concern to management immediately. Your safety depends on everyone following this.
Visitors Policy
Visitors are welcome during reasonable hours but must sign in and remain in common areas. Overnight guests are not permitted without prior written approval from management.
Respect for Property
Both yours and the hostel's. Theft, damage to facilities, or interference with another resident's belongings is a serious offense and may result in dismissal and compensation claims.
Fire & Safety
Candles, open flames, hazardous appliances, and tampering with fire safety equipment are strictly forbidden. Know your nearest exit and evacuate calmly in the event of an alarm.
Report Problems Early
Maintenance issues, conflicts, or concerns should be raised with management as soon as they arise. We would rather resolve something small now than deal with something big later.
Comply with Management
Residents are expected to follow reasonable instructions from hostel management regarding house rules, events, and safety. Continued non-compliance is grounds for termination of residency.
Consequences of Breach
We believe in fairness and proportionality. Depending on the severity of the breach, consequences may include:
Payment Period
Monthly fees run from your day of registration through to November, and are payable in full for the entire period — including midterm breaks and holidays. Accommodation is reserved for you continuously, whether or not you are physically on-site during these times.
